Criss Cross Quilt Trousers

These trousers are inspired by an antique quilt from the early 1800s. The original piece was reproduced in our New York studio and used to make this jacket. All prints are historic brown calicoes dating from the early 19th century, and the quilt was hand-tied to keep the batting and lining together. The silhouette is that of a traditional trouser—high rise, straight leg.
